The Overberg is a beautiful Region in the Western Cape of South Africa, and back when the first settlers came to the Cape and started to explore the inland of South Africa, the Overberg was fortunate to be protected by surrounding mountains making it very difficult for explores to reach, as the only way was to travel over the mountain and so came the name Overberg. Efter en tio timmars biltur från Västerås var vi framme vid Spiterstulen vid 20-tiden. Vi packade ihop vår utrustning och vandrade uppåt. Efter ca två timmar hittade vi en lämplig tältplats och tältets restes. Vi vill passa på att tacka Hilleberg för lånet av ett SAIVO tält och Naturkompaniet i Västerås för lånet av ryggsäckar och klätterutrustning. Snyggt jobbat av de båda.
